Veiled Presence

Photograph from a series dedicated to sculptorsโ workshops. Beneath a transparent protective covering, the contours of a human face begin to emerge โ an image suspended between visibility and concealment. Intended to preserve the sculpture during the working process, the plastic sheeting becomes a visual element in its own right. Its folds, tensions, and reflections create an additional layer of perception, simultaneously revealing and obscuring the form beneath. The photograph focuses on transitional moments within the creative process, when a work remains unfinished and held in a state of anticipation. Human presence is suggested indirectly through form, material, and traces of labor. Like the series as a whole, the work explores the relationship between creation, memory, and time, presenting the studio as a space of continuous transformation and becoming. Print and presentation: Fine Art Print, matted and framed in wood.
