Untitled Cafe

This piece taps into the hedonistic undertones and kick-back culture of Israel, circa 2026. It’s about a reality that’s been fractured, pieced back together, and shattered all over again. It is a hazy kind of existence—like staring through semi-translucent stained glass and only catching broken splinters of the real world on the other side. At its core, this work lays bare the raw, heavy need of the city locals to carve out some comfort from the endless static of tension and anxiety. They find it in the simple, unassuming act of a casual mid-day meetup. In those unfiltered moments, a sudden sense of grounding safety, an effortless lightness, and pure, easy joy is born.
