Saints

In the piece "Saints" (Oil and acrylic on canvas, 70x50 cm), Abisdris confronts traditional symbols of sanctity with contemporary imagery. Through a multi-layered composition that places haloed figures alongside raw, expressive portraits, she explores the boundaries between the sublime and the mundane, vulnerability and strength. Weaving together visual languages of Modernism, Surrealism, and Pop, the work questions how old and new myths construct our identity and authenticity in today’s overstimulated visual reality.
