Nocturne I

A low tone settles first—dense, almost still. From within it, a warmer presence rises, held in a quiet tension against a darker field. The contrast remains suspended, like opposing elements sharing the same space—fire against a colder depth, neither giving way. Inspired by the language of abstract expressionism and the work of Mark Rothko, the composition unfolds through color alone, where intensity and restraint coexist without resolution.
