Madhubani Western Style

Madhubani is a traditional Indian folk painting style originating from Bihar, which typically depicts mythological stories and everyday life. It is a naive style, usually painted using around three colors and flat patterns, without variations of light and shadow. I brought together various well-known motifs into one large composition and painted it in a Western style โ using the full range of tones and colors of the spectrum.
