Loranthus-Semiparasite

From the series 'Evrona' The acacia mistletoe is a parasitic plant on the acacia trees in the Arava. The ban on camel grazing, along with ecological damage, led to the outbreak of the parasite and the choking of the acacia trees in the reserve. In 2014, five million liters of crude oil spilled in the Evrona Reserve during the construction of infrastructure for the Ramon Airport. The oil covered dozens of dunams and damaged the ecological fabric.
