Grandfather’s Buddha

Falling asleep each night with a smile, and waking up happy — no matter what the day had brought. This was my grandfather's way of living, and life didn't always make it easy. This Buddha was his. To me, it embodies what he understood: that happiness, a smile, and optimism are not given to us by circumstance — they come from within.
