Yair Wolf

Yair Wolf, 16, was born and lived in Midreshet Ben Gurion. During his childhood years, he began to develop his abilities and broaden his horizons regarding improving and refining various and diverse painting techniques. Yair has a sharp eye for everyday reality, and combines classical techniques with contemporary influences, with the main characteristics of his style spreading across several genres. However, he is careful to work with precise layers of color and plays with light and shadow in a realistic way. At his young age and with accumulated experience, he displays great curiosity about the space in which he lives. He does not try to "beautify" reality, but rather makes sure to document it honestly as he observes and puts into practice his feelings regarding the reality revealed to him as he experiments with a variety of materials and mediums, with an emphasis on acrylic and oil.
