Veronika Garmotenko

Veronika Garmotenko is a multidisciplinary artist based in northern Israel. She began her painting journey during a period of personal transformation, when art became for her a space of breathing, renewal, and new beginnings. Her work emerges from lived experience, memory, and feminine–maternal identity. As a mother and a woman in an ongoing process of growth, she explores through color and material human emotional states — vulnerability alongside strength, fracture alongside hope, and the search for an inner sense of home. Her paintings develop through an intuitive and spontaneous process, where layers of color, movement, and texture form a personal emotional language. For her, painting is a space that can hold complexity — a place that is at times protective and at times cracked, yet always alive and pulsing. For Veronika, art is a way of being born again and again — transforming personal experience into a universal story that resonates with others
