Gilad Pianko

I have been painting for about 6 years, half-didact, half-autodidact (painting in an association - no higher education). I paint and draw from impulses, most of the time I don't know what I intend to paint when I go to work. I don't make an initial sketch and I don't paint from observation. I suffer from dissociation "disconnection" due to post-traumatic stress disorder, so it's very easy for me to cancel the "I" when I paint. While working and at the end of the work, I learn a lot about myself, whether in matters related to my past or another layer of my personality.
