Tal Eliezri

My work is influenced by and engages with the languages of surrealism, symbolism, and dream worlds. I am drawn to exploring the physical and spiritual realms, and my work often depicts themes and states that blur the boundaries between them. I am drawn to holistic content — there is order within chaos, and from a wider perspective there is room for everything: the good, the bad, the beautiful, the ugly, and the sublime. I search for ways to mediate between these extremes. In my work, I try to hold together, simultaneously, reality, inner experience, and spirit. These are sensations that remind me of where we come from — we were once stardust: something vast and infinite, yet also deeply personal and symbolic.
