About

Gili Klein (b. 1964, Israel) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the connection between the conscious and the subconscious, the visible and the unseen. Her creative process is guided by intuition, free expression, and an openness to the unexpected, allowing images, forms, and colors to emerge from an inner landscape shaped by dreams, memories, emotions, and personal experiences. Through vibrant colors, expressive gestures, and a dynamic interplay of materials, Klein creates works that invite viewers into an emotional and contemplative experience. Her paintings reflect a fascination with transformation, movement, femininity, spirituality, and the hidden layers of human experience. For Klein, the act of creation carries a healing dimension — a process of emotional exploration, release, and connection. She believes that art has the ability to touch the subconscious, allowing each viewer to encounter the work through their own inner world and personal associations. The artwork becomes a meeting point between artist and viewer, where new meanings and sensations can unfold beyond words. Influenced by abstract expressionism, Eastern philosophies, and the sensory richness of her early childhood in Africa, Klein’s work combines freedom, intuition, and a deep connection to color and material. She lives and works in central Israel
